Wailua Bay’s Hilton Garden Inn Now Managed by Pacifica Hotels 

Pacifica Hotels, the largest owner and operator of independent hotels along the United States Pacific Coast, announced last week its newly hotel management acquisition with Hilton Garden Inn Kaua‘i at Wailua Bay.

The hotel overlooking Wailua Bay has been managed by Pacifica Hotel’s operations division since Sept. 1, and is now the company’s second Hawai‘i property, joining The Courtyard by Marriott King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel.

With a strong history in hotel ownership and operations along the California Coast, Pacifica Hotels has seen positive growth through recent management acquisitions, according to a company press release. Pacifica Hotels states it has proven to be a key player in West Coast hospitality with industry-leading performance and outstanding guest experiences.

“We are very proud of our reputation as transformative hotel operators,” Pacifica Hotels COO Todd Moreau said in the release. “Managing the Hilton Garden Inn Kaua‘i Wailua within our collection expands our footprint while staying true to our core as Pacific coast specialists. We look forward to bringing our experience and success from Kona to this newest addition.”

Hilton Garden Inn Kaua‘i at Wailua Bay on the Royal Coconut Coast is a 216-room, beachfront, family-friendly hotel featuring a pool, fitness center, on-site restaurant and bar, and 7,460 square-feet of event space. Accommodations consist of standard guest rooms, suites, and cottages, all of which offer either ocean, mountain or garden views. Cottages also feature outdoor lanais as well as separate sleeping and living areas.

Adjacent to Lydgate Beach Park and the Kamalani Playground, the hotel sits on one of the best family-friendly beaches on Kaua‘i and offers numerous diversions for children. In addition, Wailua River and Bay, Wailua and Opaekaa Falls, Ke Ala Hele Makalae multi-use path, the Fern Grotto, and the Sleeping Giant hiking trail provide action and adventure for all ages.
