Two from Kaua`i to Italy for Zonta

The 61st Zonta International Convention held in Torino, Italy from July 7 to 12, saw delegates attending from Kaua`i, including Edie Ignacio Neumiller, president of Zonta Club of Kaua`i; and Barbara Watts, board member of the Zonta Club of Hanalei.

Approximately 2,000 members and their guests attended this International Convention with over 1,200 delegates voting on important Zonta International issues. Zonta International’s objective is to improve the legal, political, economic, educational, health and professional status of women at the global and local level through service and advocacy.
