All proceeds to benefit Koloa Elementary School

The Shops at Kukui`ula today announced for the fifth year select merchants will sell holiday bags decorated by Koloa Elementary School students beginning November 18, 2015. Each one-of-a-kind bag is hand-decorated, comes with a holiday tag and bow, and available for a minimum donation one dollar, with all proceeds going directly to Koloa Elementary School and is matched by a $1,000 donation by The Shops at Kukuiʻula.

Last years funds raised by The Shops at Kukuiʻula were used for the schools new reading and math curriculum. This year, funds will be dedicated to technology and after school clubs.

Students will be on-site Wednesday, November 18, 2015, for a 5:00pm performance at the Kauai Culinary Market to announce the program and distribute the bags to participating merchants. Following the Koloa School kindergarteners will be singing three Holiday songs as well the schools Ukulele Club under the direction of Kumu Rachel.

“We’re proud to continue our partnership with Koloa Elementary School and our Merchant’s, to support the education of our community,” said Helaine Perel, Real Estate Manager of The Shops at Kukui`ula.
