The 24th Annual Festival of Lights at the Historic County Building Park is up and glowing. The Lights were lit on Thanksgiving and will shine brightly every evening from 6 to 11 p.m. until New Year’s Day. For those heading to work in the very early morning, the lights are also turned back on from 5-7 a.m.

New for this year are the dazzling Snowfall Lights on all the trees and the new “mini-forest” filled with presents across from our Snowman Hale up the front steps to the Historic County Building. There are even four lit trees glowing inside the Historic County Building. Can you find the Sparkling Rooster?

And what would the Holidays be without Santa Claus? We have just confirmed that Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting Kaua‘i’s Festival of Lights from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4, 11 and 18 from 6-8 p.m. They will be greeting everyone from their “Santa Bubble” at the top of the steps to the Historic County Building, and they can’t wait for free photos with Santa!

For 2020, the Festival of Lights will not be putting their display inside the Historic County Building, as there is no way to safely practice social distance.
