Sheraton Kauai Resort Chef Michael Young to Appear on Food Network’s “Cutthroat Kitchen”

Sheraton Kauai Resort is proud to announce Chef Michael Young, acting Executive Chef of Sheraton Kauai Resort, is scheduled to appear in theSunday, November 29, 2015, episode of “Cutthroat Kitchen” on the Food Network. Scheduled to air at 8 p.m. HST, the show features four chefs who navigate challenges while having the opportunity to sabotage their opponents in a three-round elimination cooking competition. A viewing party will be held at RumFire Poipu Beach from 7 p.m. and is open to the public.

Titled, “I Love it When You Call Me Big Papaya,” the show will include two chefs rolling around in a rickshaw while making green papaya salad, a chef riding a mechanical bull while making a barbecue bacon cheeseburger, and another chef baking a spice cake in a spice grinder, according to the Food Network website.

The resort is inviting the public to show their support by joining the Sheraton Kauai team at RumFire Poipu Beach from 7 p.m. for a viewing party of the episode. The cover charge of $10 will include light pupus inspired by the program. Net proceeds of the cover charge will kick off the December Table 53 fundraiser for Hawaii High School Athletic Association to benefit high school athletic programs on Kaua‘i.
