The state Department of Land and Natural Resources will hold an informational meeting next Monday evening, regarding the design options for improvements to the entry roadway and park roadways in the Polihale State Park.

DLNR will be providing information on the natural and cultural resources in the park and the regulations for park use.

In addition, DLNR is seeking public input on:

1 — Proposed improvements to the entry road and park roadways.

2 — Protection of natural, archaeological and cultural resources in the park.

3 — Vehicle access and use on the beach.

DLNR has hired the consulting firms of Kodani & Associates Engineers, LLC. and Island Strategy LLC to conduct community outreach, complete topographic survey and mapping, and technical assessments of development options and costs for roadway improvements.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. March 23, at the Kekaha Neighborhood Center, at 8130 Elepaio Road.
