Paradox Lockdown & The Bandwagon to raise funds to benefit Hale ‘Opio & Kauai United Way.

Paradox Lockdown & The Bandwagon have teamed up with Kauai Christian Fellowship to present the first annual Tunes4Treatment Benefit Concert for Hale ‘Opio to be held at Kauai Christian Fellowship Church at 2731Ala Kinoiki in Koloa on Saturday, September 8 from noon to 10 p.m. The concert will feature a number of local youth and adult bands and solo musical performances. The event is planned as a family-friendly day with entertainment, food, vendors, information and fun for all ages. Admission will be by suggested donation — $10 adults/$5 students — with proceeds going to benefit Hale ‘Opio’s teen substance abuse and prevention programs and the Kauai United Way charities. The greatest needs right now are for items for the silent auction and raffles, musical talent including youth and adult bands and individual performers, and vendors with like-minded spirit. The concept behind the concert is to actively involve Kaua‘i’s youth in effecting change within their community. Paradox Lockdown has been performing at benefit concerts for the past two years while working on their own music development. They currently have two EP release CDs with radio play and some national awards. Jeremy Hartshorn, singer/songwriter, award-winning producer with three CDs of his own and owner of the The Bandwagon, is actively bringing music and training into the hands of those who might not otherwise have the opportunity.
