Palm Sunday, the Sunday of the Passion, April 12-13, 2014

St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church, 4364 Hardy Street at Umi in Lihue will observe Palm Sunday, the Sunday of the Passion, with three unique services, Saturday, April 12 at 5:30 pm, and Sunday, April 13, at 8:00 and 10:00 am. Each service will include an ukulele and guitar palm procession, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Pie Jesu” with the expanded St. Michael’s choir directed by Randy Leonard, bassist Will Lydgate, a Dramatic reading of the Passion with Kauai actors Arnold Meister, Morgan Liddell, Alan Van Zee, Cher Ellwood, Dennis McGraw, Dominic Simmons, and Koahe Cordeiro, with Aki Conquest on drums, and John Dumas on flute and didgeridoo, with pianist Hank Curtis and vocalists Peggy Lake and Karen Dickinson.
