Online registration for the county’s Spring Fun program begins today at 8 a.m. on the Department of Parks and Recreation registration website, www.kauairecreation.org.

Spring Fun will be offered at the Līhu‘e Neighborhood Center and Kalawai Park and Pavilion, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, starting Monday, March 20 through Friday, March 24. The program is open to children ages 5 to 11.

There is a new online registration system in place designed to make it easier for the public to sign up for Parks programs and services. To utilize the benefits of this system, residents are encouraged to create a user account prior to March 6, as an account is required in order to register.

Once an account is created, the user can browse the registration site to become familiar with how it works.

The cost of the program is $40 per child. Payments can be made with a debit or credit card. Space is limited at each location. Children must bring their own lunch, snacks, and drinks to the program daily as lunch will not be provided for the Spring Fun program.
