Frampton 1

Eric Frampton

Making an impact in children’s lives and their perspective communities here on Kaua‘i is a team effort.

As Lihu‘e resident and NFL free agent Eric Frampton waits for a call to continue his pro career, he will not wait on the sidelines to do his part in making a difference in our community.

Frampton is excited about his partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Hawai‘i-Kaua‘i to put on a football clinic, with the goal of preserving and encouraging active play among youth. Spectators are encouraged to attend on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Isenberg field in Lihu‘e.

Members of the Boys & Girls Club will learn football skills via a pro-style format, and will also be challenged in the areas of teamwork, discipline and leadership.

Frampton brings seven years of experience playing for the Dallas Cowboys, Minnesota Vikings, and New Orleans Saints.

In an ESPN.go.com blog, he is described as a smart player who is able to utilize his athletic gifts at both free and strong safety.

The Dallas writer states: “He picked up the defensive scheme pretty quickly and earned significant snaps on defense”.

Frampton played a total of 91 games, having a total of 111 tackles, 85 of which were solo tackles.

There are ways for individuals, organizations, and businesses to get involved and join Frampton’s team. A list of sponsorship opportunities is also available with the option of having your logo placed on official camp T-shirts.
