Maluhia Road closure set for Aug. 11

Maluhia Road near the Kōloa Road junction will be closed on Thursday, Aug. 11, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., for the installation of a pedestrian walkway that crosses the Waihohonu Stream.

While the work is underway, the public is advised to avoid this section of Maluhia Road or allow for extra travel time when going through the area. Traffic will be detoured around the work zone.

Motorists should use caution and observe all detour and construction signs, traffic control devices, and instruction from the flaggers. The work is part of the Wailana Bridge No. 2 pedestrian walkway replacement project.
