Sheraton Kauai Resort Names Mālama Pono Health Services 

Table 53 Beneficiary for June 2016

Sheraton Kauai Resort is proud to announce Mālama Pono Health Services as its June 2016 beneficiary for theTable 53 program. Net proceeds for all food & beverage at Table #53 in the oceanfront RumFire Poipu Beach restaurant will be donated to the non-profit organization this month. Over $140,000 has been raised for worthy causes to benefit the Kaua‘i community through the Table 53 program since its inception in October 2012.

Founded in 1986 and incorporated as a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit in 1989, Mālama Pono Health Services’ mission is “To provide individualized compassionate health care services and education to meet the evolving needs of those on Kaua‘i.” Mālama Pono means “to righteously care for.” The organization’s service portfolio includes case management, support at end of life, advocacy, community education, testing, Women’s wellness, Fatherhood is Sacred and medical referrals.

The Table 53 program is offered at RumFire Poipu Beach, Kaua‘i’s oceanfront hot spot, featuring locally sourced cuisine with global influences, exciting cocktails to ignite your palate and over 180-degree oceanfront views from all of its 240 seats. Table 53 features private booth seating overlooking the beautifully landscaped Ocean Courtyard, inviting fire pits and stunning sunsets. Guests can enjoy nightly specials and signature RumFire favorites all while supporting a great cause. The resort encourages guests, “The more you dine, the more we donate.”

Patrons who are interested in participating in RumFire’s Table 53 program are encouraged to make reservations in advance by calling808.742.4786 and requesting Table #53. The table is available on a first come, first served basis. Net proceeds for all food and beverage at Table #53 during dinner service will be donated to Mālama Pono Health Services, gratuity will be paid to the server and taxes will be remitted to the State of Hawai‘i.
