KSA Youth Summer Sailing Camp

Aloha future sailors!

Here at Kaua`i Sailing Association we are gearing up for our summer sailing camps for youths aged 7-16 years.  We have four separate week-long programs to offer, and we are excited to welcome kids with all levels of sailing experience from complete beginners to youths with advanced levels of skill.

All summer camps will run Monday through Friday, 10 am – 4 pm

June 9^th-13^th – INTERMEDIATE sailing camp

June 16^th-20^th – BEGINNER sailing camp

July 7^th-11^th – INTERMEDIATE sailing camp   (coinciding with Junior Sailing Olympics on Oahu    July 10^th and 11^th, optional attendance)

July 21^st-25^th – BEGINNER sailing camp

Cost is $200 per week.  Scholarships are available through KSA.

Each program will begin with a swim test.  Students will be expected to tread water for 3 minutes and swim 25 yards without the use of a PFD.  There will be both theoretical and practical instruction, as well as lots of sailing time on the water!

Intermediate students will be expected to have some previous boating and sailing experience, as we will be teaching more advanced sailing techniques.

For students who are interested, those who have completed our intermediate camp have the opportunity to assist with instructing the beginner classes.
