KIUC Nominating Committee Selects Candidates for Board Election

The Kaua‘i Island Utility Cooperative Nominating Committee has selected three candidates for its Board of Directors election on March 23, 2019. Three of the nine director positions are up for election annually.
The nominated candidates are, in alphabetical order:

· Calvin Murashige

· Jan TenBruggencate

· Peter Yukimura

Members can also run for the cooperative’s board by submitting a petition with the names of at least 35 members by the close of business on Thursday, January 10, 2019.

All potential candidates must complete the Prospective Director Candidate Application and Authority to Release Information form, comply with Board Policy 18 and attend the orientation on Thursday, January 10 at 4 p.m. to confirm a willingness to serve.
