Vic and the Victimz: Old Kapa`a Town Art Walk is the first Saturday monthly. From 5:30 to 9 p.m. hundreds gather for the dozen bands, street performers, art, food and entertainment. At the end of each art walk, the crowd flows into Big Wave Dave’s to dance all night to Vic and the Victimz.  Their rock and roll, swing music is some of the best dance music on Kaua`i.

Brothers Cazimero and Amy “Gilliom” Hānaiali’i: From 7 to10 p.m. May 10 is the Kaua`i Hospice Benefit Concert at Kaua`i Community College Performing Arts Center (KCC PAC). Grammy nominated Brothers Cazimero have been serenading contemporary Hawaiian music lovers for almost 40 years. Hānaiali’i is Hawai`i’s top selling female vocalist of all time and has been nominated for five Grammy’s.

Whiskey O: Kaua`i’s only Irish pub band brings their crowd pleasing style to the Feral Pig in Lihu`e from 4 to 7 p.m. May 12. This traditional Irish Ceili Band invites musicians to join them throughout the night. Audience participation is encouraged.

Ka’ala Boys: Since 1999 they’ve released five albums of Hawaiian Island Roots Reggae with lots of strings and great harmonies. Hear them from 10 p.m. to 1a.m. May 31 at Backyards Kapa`a.

UndeRated: A female crooner sure to knock your socks off fronts this four- piece alternative rock band. Her raspy sultry voice brings folks back week after week. Hear them from 7:30 to 10 p.m Tuesdays and 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. Thursdays at Tortilla Republic in Po`ipu.

Sneak Peak at June:  Taste of Hawai`i is June 2, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Don’t miss this event.  They have three stages this year filled with some of the best live music Kaua`i has to offer.
