Kauai Museum Japanese Cultural Festival on August 29

The Kauai Museum presents its Japanese Cultural Festival from 10 a.m. to 1p.m., on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Kauai Museum Courtyard.

Celebrate the Japanese culture with food, entertainment, crafts, games, healing, flower arrangements and more.

Guests will be able to experience the heritage of the Japanese. The festival will include performances by Joyful Noise Taiko Drumming, Kyle Chew – Shakuhachi Flutist, San Shin Okinawa.

In addition, event-goers will enjoy a mini bon dance and a sushi making demonstration by Chef Steven Nakata.

This event is part of Ohana Saturday which gives Kauai residents free admission. There will be a discounted admission rate for visitors. Donations are welcomed.
