Outreach Workers are coming to share their services with the North Shore Community.

Hale Halawai ‘Ohana ‘O Hanalei – The  Hanalei Community Center

  • Ho’ola Lahui Hawaii;  Kauai Community Center information – regarding medical, dental, counseling and pharmacy services available on a sliding scale for the uninsured or underinsured.  DHS Application Assistance is available for medical (Medquest), Food stamps (EBT)  and Financial Aid (Bring photo ID, Birth Certificate or US passport, Income verification and current bank statements)   June  240-0182
  • Hale Ho’omalu;   Provides family support services , Enrichment classes,  Snap (food stamp app assistance), Food Pantry, Clothes Closet, Community Outreach, Information and referral, Volunteer training, Parenting Classes, Counseling.   Contact Dory, 821-2520

  • Dept of Elderly Affairs :  providing senior id picture taking ( free) along with current information, activities and services for seniors
  • KEO – information on homeless outreach and prevention, group home, shelter plus care program, many more
  • Veterans Administration – information  and services for veterans
  • Queen Lili’uokalani Children’s Center – Sharing information about support services for Hawaiian children who are orphaned or raised by ‘ohana caregivers
