Grazie! EXCEL Dance Studio Takes 1st Place in Italy

EXCEL Dance Studio All Stars, under the direction of owner/instructor Sherri Sanchez Holcomb, returned from Italy recently, where they took first place in Hip Hop Dance and a silver cup for overall performance. Judges looked at technique, attitude and choregraphy, and these Kaua`i kama`aina showed their stuff.

Holcomb picks the All Stars from her annual July dance camp, a four-day event open to anyone ages six and older, held at the Kaua`i Veteran’s Center and cosponsored by American Legion Post 54.

Says Holcomb, “On the last day of camp we invite family and friends to watch as the dancers perform what they learned at camp, then we announce our new All Star Team.”
