Free Museum Day at Grove Farm Museum Saturday, Sept. 29

Grove Farm Museum, in conjunction with the Smithsonian Museum, invites the local community and visitors to its free Museum Day on Saturday, September 29 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Grove Farm Museum on Nawiliwili Road in Lihu`e.

Starting at 10 a.m., there will be guided tours of the property, a scavenger hunt for the keiki, mini exhibits of plantation artifacts and an hourly showing of the video Long Sugar, The Koloa Plantation Story and free train rides on Haleko Road, across from the old Lihu`e sugar mill.

Also, the Waioli Mission House in Hanalei will hold free tours of the missionary home from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
