Friday, October 24th – “Rotary Roundup”

Wranglers Restaurant, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. – The event kicks off the weekend’s Waimea Fall Festival celebration with live music from local country band Not My First Rodeo during Happy Hour in front of the Saddle Room from 4-6 p.m., followed by opening presentations, dinner and social activities.

Saturday, October 25th – “Festival of Stars & Flavors of Waimea

Waimea Town at C.B. Hoffgard Park (fronting First Hawaiian Bank), 12 noon – 5:00 p.m.  A musical event showcasing original compositions about significant events and places connected with and in honor of Kauai’s beloved King Kaumuali’i.

Hele On to Waimea, the most historic community, where the past meets the present. Don’t miss this event honoring King Kaumuali’i, the last king of Kaua’i.

Na Mele O Kaumuali’i will begin with the sound of the conch shell announcing King Kaumuali’i and Queen Kehaikaakulou. The melodious sounds of chants and songs by musicians and hula dancers, all honoring the legacy of King Kaumuali’i, will resound.

Come early to enjoy the Flavors of Waimea. Food establishments will have their ever popular cuisine, plus see the treasures the merchants and local craftsmen, which include Ni’ihau shell jewelry. Take a self guided walking tour using the story boards along Kaumuali’i Highway. Get to know Waimea’s history, its people and place.

Sunday, October 26th – “Fall Fest Family Day”

Waimea Canyon Park, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. – FREE ADMISSION! Enjoy a day filled with carnival rides for the keiki, water slides, jumper houses — the fun just goes on and on!
