Do you have ideas but don’t know how to put them to work? Kaua‘i Makerspace and the Innovation Center at Kaua‘i Community College continue the Innovation Presentation series with a discussion by Richard O’Reilly this evening.

Rich is a Kaua‘i resident who has been helping local inventors through the Kaua‘i Makerspace to realize their creations and pursue manufacturing abroad. Rich has a career of experience in the injection mold industry and aerospace industry and a true passion for design.

Several years ago, Rich began teaching free CAD design classes with the Kaua‘i Makerspace. Rich continues this today, in the hopes of connecting local students and residents to professional skills. Over the course of these years, Rich has been sought out for support by many local inventors. Sharing his knowledge and skills, he works with these inventors and their ideas. Rich will highlight the voyage of some of these innovations and discuss what is possible for our community.

The lecture will be at the Innovation Center at KCC, which is at the FARM104 building on the west side of campus, this Thursday, Dec. 20 at 6 p.m. Tickets are free. Email for more information.
