County announces changes in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for The Agency on Elderly Affairs

The County of Kaua‘i announces the following County-related changes in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Agency on Elderly Affairs in order to provide for the health, safety, and welfare of the people of Kaua‘i from the potential spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Effective March 20, until further notice, the following SOPs will be implemented at the Agency on Elderly Affairs. All inquiries and communications with the Agency on Elderly Affairs shall be through phone at 808-241-4470 or by emailing elderlyaffairs@kauai.gov.

1.    A representative from the Agency will return any message within 48 hours of the call or email.

2.     For questions regarding Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) please call 808-241-4479 or by emailing rsvp@kauai.gov. A representative from RSVP will return any message within 48 hours of the call or email.

3.    For questions regarding Medicare or other services please call to make an appointment.
