ANAINA HOU COMMUNITY PARK TO HOST FREE COMMUNITY HOLIDAY DINNER

Anaina Hou Community Park to host FREE community holiday dinner 

Friday, December 25^th, 4:00 to 6:00pm

Anaina Hou Community Park will present a Free Community Holiday Dinner from 4:00 to 6:00pm on Christmas Day.  The event will be held on the lawn at Kauai Mini Golf, located in Kilauea, and members of the community are invited to participate. Several local bands and musicians will provide live music to add to the festivities and guests will enjoy free Mini Golf throughout the day.

“We are truly honored to continue this annual tradition established by Bill and Joan Porter,” shared Jordan Wyle, Executive Director of Anaina Hou. “Anaina Hou was founded to serve as a non-profit gathering place for our community and we are honored to be able to share the holiday with those in need of a meal or without family and friends to share the day with.”

This event is presented by Anaina Hou Community Park , the 16 acre non-profit campus in Kilauea that features Kauai Mini Golf and Botanical Gardens, a Café and Gift Store, access to hiking and mountain biking the Wai Koa Loop Trail, two weekly Farmers Markets featuring locally-grown produce, a Playground and Skate Park for our keiki, HI-5 redemption and more.

In 2016, the organization will present a vision for the new Anaina Hou Pavilion to our community. This facility, funded entirely by a generous gift from Bill and Joan Porter, will provide a beautiful new gathering place for our community. The Pavilion may host activities such as concerts, films, theater, lectures and more; and host luaus, wedding receptions, and other community events.
