AN EXTRAORDINARY WEEKEND ON KAUAI FEB. 1-3!

The Seventh Annual All Angels Jazz Festival will take place on Friday through Saturday, February 1 through 3 at St. Michael’s Church in Lihu`e.  Last year over 1,000 music lovers from all over the world attended this world-class festival.

We have some amazing artists joining us again this year including the First Ladies of Jazz featuring Greta Matassa from Seattle,  Valerie Duke from Chattanooga, Hedreich Nichols from Switzerland (by way of Dallas), along with pianist Matt Lemmler from New Orleans,  saxophonist Elias Haslanger from Austin, drummer Abe Lagrimas Jr from LA,  bassist Dean Taba from Honolulu,  Kauai’s own pianist Michael Ruff and trumpeter David Braun.

The Friday and Saturday night concerts celebrate the Great American Songbook with Part One on Friday and Part Two on Saturday.  Tickets are on sale now (and going fast) at www.stmichaels-kauai.org

Sunday morning’s Jazz Masses at 8 and 10:30 celebrate the life and music of ELLA FITZGERALD, with Kauai’s best musicians and singers, along with many of our musical guests.  Get there early if you want a seat!  I’ve attached the poster for this year and hope you’ll pass it on to your music-loving friends – on Kauai and beyond!
