Hall of Compassion
All are welcome to experience an afternoon in the ancient tradition of Japanese tea ceremony from the Urasenke Kaua’i Kyoukai tea association at the Lawai International Center.
This premier event is the first public gathering in the Hall of Compassion, a hand carved structure true to 13th – century architecture built with the hands and hearts of masters from Asia and volunteers from Kaua’i.
There will also be a talk story time with the volunteers who worked on the Hall of Compassion following the tea ceremony demonstration.Reservations are required due to the availability of seating.
