Women Artists of Kaua`i team up with NTBG for festival

The National Tropical Botanical Garden and the Women Artists of Kaua`i are teaming up again to present a Fine Art Festival next month.

Normally, this annual event would happen in December. But because of a heavy storm last month, the event was rescheduled to February, according to artist Donia Lilly.

The Fine Art Festival will have original art work, prints and gifts from 10 Kaua`i artists. A portion of the proceeds will support NTBG.

The free, family event will also have live music and food available for purchase.

The featured artists include Donia Lilly, Anna Skaradzinska, Suzy Staulz, Jennifer Rutt, Marionette Taboniar, Lannie Boesiger, Caylin Spear, Helen Turner, Patrice Pendarvis and Keani Andrade.

The event will be held Sunday, Feb. 16, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at NTBG’s South Shore Visitor Center, across from Spouting Horn at 4425 Lawai Rd, Po`ipu.
