The Sunday, May 6 final performance of “Carmina Burana,” the ancient poetry cum cantata that brought two choral groups and a wind symphony together in concert, received a standing ovation at Sunday evening’s performance. KCC student Ethan Miguel captured two of the three collaborators of the concert onstage after the event: Julianne Hiu, conductor of the Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School Chorus (l) and Sarah Tochiki, conductor of the KCC Wind Symphony (r). The third collaborator, not pictured, was Lois Ricciardi, conductor of the Kaua`i Chorale and the source of an earlier forkauaionline.com interview. To read it, click here.
