We are very excited to continue the legacy of Christian education on Kauai since 1973 from the leadership of Principal Daniel Moore to the new leadership of Daniel Plunkett. The Teachers, students, parents, staff, and school board appreciate all that Principal Moore has done for KCA over the last 4 years and are delighted for Mr. Moore as he pursues a career advancement in pastoral ministry in Iowa.
Daniel Plunkett has been teaching at Kauai Christian Academy since 2006 and brings to us experience specific to our school, wisdom beyond his years, as well as a deep love for JESUS and HIS children. Having graduated high school from International Christian Academy in Cote d’Ivoire West Africa as the son of a missionary family, Daniel went on to receive his B.A. from Welch College, where he also taught, and his M.A. in English Literature from Austin Peay State University in Tennessee. A Deacon at Anahola Baptist Church since 2010, Daniel lives right in Kilauea with his wife Jen and 2 children Judah and Titus.
