Video Debut: ‘In the Footsteps of Our Princess’

Storybook Theatre of Hawai`i is pleased to announce the World Premier Documentary Video titled ‘In the Footsteps of Our Princess’ to be shown Saturday June 22, at the Historic Waimea Theater at 7 p.m.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. with the limousine ‘Arrival of the Stars’ in front of the theater.  Special guest performer, Cyril Pahinui, will open the evening with Hawaiian Slack Key, followed by the 35 minute movie that features Hawaii’s young people  and their portrayal of Princess Victoria Ka’iulani in more than 11 years of festival events in Hanapepe and all over Kaua`i.

The festive evening will also include a ‘Meet the Stars Party’ after the showing of the documentary where audience members can meet the “stars” and  “crew” of the movie and enjoy great pupus and a silent auction that will help Kula Aupuni Ni’ihau A Kahelelani Aloha Public Charter School and Storybook Theatre to raise needed operational funds.
