Waipa Mele Fest Saturday

The Waipa Foundation will host their first  Music Festival Saturday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pictured here, the Waipa Serenaders.

The Waipa Foundation is a living learning center focused on taking care of Kauai’s natural resources, practicing Hawaiian culture and values, and inspiring healthy keiki and community.

Join the Waipa community for a day by Halulu Fishpond, along Hanalei Bay. Enjoy a fun and relaxing afternoon  listening to homegrown live music, viewing educational displays and demonstrations; exploring hands-on activities like arts and crafts; and eating amazing food from local chefs.

Admission is $10 for adults and $1 for keiki 14 and under. This event is for construction of the Waipa Community Kitchen, Poi Mill and Hale Imu.
