BIZ SHAKAS — Kaua‘i Soto Zen Hanapepe

The members of the Kaua‘i Soto Zen Temple in Hanapepe share their aloha in this picture, left to right, Linda Oshiro, Shirley Matsuo, Phillip Price, President Gerald Hirata, Penny Dusenberry, Ed Goka, Sherrie Orr, Diane Nitta and Roy Miyashiro. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Kaua‘i Soto Zen did a virtual Bon Dance and fundraising for the last two years. This year, however, they will do a little bit more, with several activities and exhibits, while still being mindful of the pandemic and taking extra precautions.
