We Love Iris Saturday Oct. 20

You can feel the love pumpin’ out. A Saturday, Oct. 20 fundraiser for this young woman with THE VOICE will take place from 2 to 9 p.m. at Common Ground in Kilauea — with more big voices.

And they are all raised in song for this young woman with lupus, a disease that attacks the auto-immune system and that has led to her need for a kidney transplant. Funds raised at the event will help pay for her medical expenses.

This is the time to show up for a young woman who’s life’s path is to entertain and which she does with an enormous voice and great energy.

Tix are $30, available for sale at Strings and Things in Hanalei, Magic Dragon in Princeville, Healthy Hut in Kilauea, Papaya’s in Kapa‘a, Progressive Expressions in Po‘ipu and Vim ‘n Vigor in Lihu`e. C       Children 12 and under are free, but in any case, it’s money and time well spent with top talent including some more big voices: Paula Fuga, The Quake with James Norman, Elijah — and the Band of Light, Steve Dubey & Tiki Tonics, Preeta, efty & Friends and more.

Soul Fire will do its amazing fire gig, Ron Wiley will emcee and Malama Kaua`i and Kona Brewing Company are helping sponsor.
