The County of Kaua‘i listed its services that will be affected by the upcoming holidays this weekend.

According to a news release last earlier this week, the county offices, in observance of Good Friday, will be closed on Friday, April 2, along with the following sites:

The Kekaha Landfill, all refuse transfer stations, the Puhi Metals Recycling Center, the Reynolds Recycling HI5 Redemption Center in Lihue, the Kapa‘a and Waimea swimming pools, and all the neighborhood centers will be closed in observance of the holiday.

The HI5 redemption centers operated by Kaua‘i Community Recycling Services (KCRS) in Kapa‘a and Kīlauea will be open on Friday as well as on Saturday in Kekaha. They will be closed on Sunday in observance of the Easter holiday in Kōloa.

The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged.

The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its regular schedule on the holiday.

Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Monday, April 5.
