Registration for Boys and Girls Basketball Begins Wednesday

County officials are announcing that registration for boys and girls basketball, grades fifth through eighth, begins Jan. 8, according to a County of Kaua‘i news release. The cost for each participant is $30.

Registration will take place at the Līhu‘e and Hanapēpē neighborhood centers as well as the Department of Parks and Recreation’s main office located at 4444 Rice St. Suite 105, Līhu‘e.

Registration times at the Līhu‘e and Hanapēpē neighborhood centers are from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. during normal business hours.

The basketball season runs from Feb. 15 through May 15.
