Koloa Plantation Days 2019 — Year of the Paniolo was a huge success this year. The three-day rodeo that opened this year’s week-long festival July 20-23 had a record-breaking crowd, according to organizer Joyce Miranda.

Following the Koloa Town Parade on July 27, the entertainment at Anne Knudsen Park offered a full day of festivities, including dozens of craft and food vendors, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

After the pule, and the Hawai‘i Pono‘i, Hawai‘i’s anthem, drummers from Tsunami Taiko took the main stage at the park. Other entertainment included Cruz Control, Hapa, Jerry Santos and Kamuela Kimokeo, Michael Keale and Not My First Rodeo.
