Pacific Missile Range Facility, Barking Sands welcomes the public to the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) “America’s Most West Freedom Fest 2018” celebration on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at PMRF. Gates will open at 4 p.m. and close at 9 p.m. and the event will start at 5 p.m. Admission is free and will take place on the beach adjacent to Shenanigans restaurant.

Food, games, craft vendors, live music by Cruz Control, Henry Kapono & Duke’s on Sunday Band, Kapena and Ka Vibes and Kauai’s best fireworks display will highlight the celebrations. Mobile ATM facilities will not be available on festival grounds and guests are highly encouraged to bring cash currency to enjoy the many food, refreshment, game and craft booths available at the event.

Free parking will be available on base and visitors are reminded that all vehicles will be subject to search. Outside food, beverages, coolers, tents, pets, weapons of any kind (i.e., firearms, knives of all types,) drugs, personal fireworks or drones are not allowed in. Small bags (e.g., purse, diaper bag) and water bottles are allowed, however, all items are subject to search. Motorcycles are welcome however riders must wear helmet, boots, bright colored long sleeve shirt, jacket or reflective vest.

Due to security requirements, attending adult visitors are asked to have a valid photo identification card with them. Children under the age of 18 are not required to have identification. An example of accepted identification would be a driver’s license, passport or State of Hawaii ID card.
