The Breadfruit Institute at National Tropical Botanical Garden is seeking agroforestry volunteers to help implement a new, global model in sustainable and regenerative agriculture at the Breadfruit Research Orchard in McBryde Garden on Kaua‘i.
Become a volunteer and be a part of this exciting tropical agroforestry project. Volunteers must be able to lift at least 15 pounds, dig, rake, shovel, plant and work in outdoor temperatures of 80°F.
Project volunteer days include Jan. 29, 30, 31 and Feb. 1 and 2. The six-hour shifts are 8 a.m. – 2 p.m., with check-in at 7:30 a.m.
