Winter Basketball League Registration Begins Wednesday

The county Department of Parks and Recreation announced the registration for the Boys and Girls Winter Basketball League begins this Wednesday and runs through Nov. 22.

Registration will be at the Kapa‘a, Līhu‘e and Kalāheo neighborhood centers from 8 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m.

Participants may register for the following categories:

• Fifth and sixth grade boys and girls division;
• Seventh and eighth grade boys and girls division.

The cost for each participant is $30.

The tentative start date for the games is Jan. 8, 2018.
