Proceeds to Benefit the Ultimate Hawaiian Trail Run Foundation

RumFire Poipu Beach will kick off its summer fundraising for Table 53 by donating June proceeds to the Ultimate Hawaiian Trail Run Foundation, Inc. Support generated through Table 53 will be used to provide youth scholarships to the organization’s wellness program. Table 53 at Sheraton Kauai Resort’s oceanfront restaurant donates all net food & beverage proceeds from the designated table to a different local non-profit organization each month, and it has raised over $180,000 toward charitable causes since its inception in 2012.

The Ultimate Hawaiian Trail Run Foundation’s mission is to create an environment that empowers the people of Hawai‘i. The organization serves the youth of Kaua‘i through an inclusive fitness program that is free for all kids. The program’s heart centers around more than just fitness and aims to cultivate an environment that will challenge, empower and teach kids skills that extend beyond the boundaries of the gym. The organization provides a community that is accessible on a daily basis, with transportation and food included.

Table 53 is located at RumFire Poipu Beach, a modern, oceanfront dining experience. The restaurant’s innovative menu features locally sourced cuisine with global influences and an extensive cocktail menu that includes the largest rum selection on Kaua‘i. Table 53 is a private booth that overlooks a beautifully landscaped Ocean Courtyard, inviting fire pits and stunning sunsets. Enjoy the restaurant’s new offerings, such as the Beet-Stained Maui Nui Venison Tartare, or a “flight” of entrées with local favorites like Misoyaki Butterfish and Wasabi Pea-Crusted Ahi, all while supporting a great cause. The program reminds guests, “The more you dine, the more we donate.”

Patrons who are interested in participating in RumFire’s Table 53 program are encouraged to make reservations in advance by calling 808.742.4786 and requesting Table #53. The table is available on a first come, first served basis. Net proceeds for all food and beverage at Table #53 during dinner service will be donated to the charity of the month, gratuity will be paid to the server and taxes will be remitted to the State of Hawai‘i.
