On August 1, a limited number of $50 tickets will go on sale for the much-anticipated Kauai Historical Society’s 4th Annual Victorian Tea to be held on Friday, September 7 at 1 p.m. at the private McCloskey Estate at Kaua`i Ranch in Kealia.

The society asks participants to once again don imaginative Victorian hat creations and attire and come savor an assortment of finger sandwiches, sweets and teas. Favorite pastimes such as lawn games and listening to lilting strains of old time melodies will be offered, along with tea leaf readings and horse drawn carriage rides provided by Kauai Horse and Carriage, and much more.

As always, there will be door prizes and professional butler Tony Gaspar will be on hand to charm the ladies with a touch of old world elegance and his impeccable manners.

Step back in time and let your cares slip away while enjoying unparalleled panoramic views and sipping tea in the shade of an expansive lanai.

This event is open to adult ladies only.
