We have been printing a Kaua‘i community newspaper for the past 13 years. We published for seven years as a weekly, and for the past six years as a monthly community newspaper. Now, in addition to our monthly newspaper, we are introducing For Kaua‘i annual magazine in a beautiful glossy format, a true collectors’ item.

Cover kapaFor Kaua‘i, an award-winning publication on Kaua‘i, has been acknowledged though multiple awards in the state of Hawai‘i in 2016 by the U.S. Small Business Administration, by the Hawai‘i Publishers Association and by the Society of Professional Journalists. This year’s awards, added to our 2015 awards, only reinforces why more people read For Kaua‘i.

A good newspaper is central to the growth and success of the community it serves. A cultural newspaper is even more important to the community. It records the past and present. Kaua‘i’s essence is based on the aloha spirit, the beauty of the island and its people.

A good community newspaper provides encouragement and praise for the good being accomplished. It helps to bring attention where it is most needed and helps people get things done.

With your support and the support of the community we can continue to succeed at our goals with our most valuable and committed staff.

I thank you for all the past years you have supported our endeavors, and we will continue to serve you with vision and aloha.
