County officials announced that registration for the Winter Fun Program will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 9 on the county website, www.kauai.gov

Arts and crafts, games, and outdoor and educational activities will be offered.
The program runs from Dec. 21 to Jan. 5, Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with days off on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, and New Year’s Day, Jan. 1.
The program is open to youngsters five to 11 years old. Program sites include the Kapa‘a, Līhu‘e and Kalāheo neighborhood centers.
Parents or guardians will need to provide lunch, beverages and snacks for their child/children on a daily basis.
The cost of enrollment is $50 per child and it does not include lunch.
All major credit cards will be accepted for payment including American Express, Master Card, VISA and Discover. In addition, debit and pre-paid credit cards will be accepted.
Enrollment is limited and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
