Registration continues through the week for the Kaua’i Police Activities League (KPAL) flag football programs in Kapa‘a-Anahola, Līhu’e, Kōloa-Kalāheo, Hanapēpē and Waimea, for all school-aged youth, kindergarten through high school.

Registration for the Kapa‘a-Anahola flag football program is being held today through Thursday from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the KPAL Kapa‘a Youth Center, located at 4800 Kawaihau Road.   

The Līhu’e program registration is being held today through Thursday from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the KPAL Līhu’e Boxing Gym, located between Vidinha Stadium and the soccer field.

Those interested in Kōloa-Kalāheo flag football can register at the Kalāheo Neighborhood Center on Thursday from 4 to 6:30 p.m.

Waimea program participants can register at the Waimea Neighborhood Center today and Wednesday, from 4 to 6:30 p.m.

Those interested in the Hanapēpē program can register on Tuesday, from 4 to 6:30 p.m., at the Hanapēpē KPAL Boxing Gym, located behind the Hanapēpē Armory.

Football practice begins in May. Practices times will be determined by each coach once all registration forms have been collected.

The cost for flag football is $25. Fees are waived for students with reduced or free school meals. A letter verifying reduced meals is required at registration.
