Wilcox Memorial Hospital announces the addition of Dr. Grace Galiza, pediatrician, to its physician staff.

“We are very excited to have Dr. Grace Galiza return to Kaua‘i and become a part of the Wilcox ‘ohana,” said Kathy Clark, president and CEO of Wilcox Memorial Hospital and CEO of Kaua‘i Medical Clinic. “She’s a local girl born and raised on Kaua‘i, which provides her with a special connection to Kaua‘i’s people and lifestyle. She will bring this understanding of our island culture to the quality care she provides to patients.”

Galiza has a special interest in pediatric dermatology. She also focuses her efforts on community outreach and medical missions. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association.

After receiving her medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences Pomona, where she received the “Happiest Doc” award in 2008, Galiza completed her internship and residency at Southern California Medical Center in Los Angeles.
