Pono Market: 1st business to sell Kaua’i Bus passes

KAPA‘A – In an effort to further enhance customer service, the county is partnering with Pono Market on the sale of Kaua’i Bus passes. The market is located in Kapa‘a at 4-1300 Kūhi‘ō Highway.

Starting Monday, May 21, Pono Market will be selling bus passes for $25 apiece via cash transactions only. The market’s normal hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Pono Market is the first business that has stepped to the plate to sell the bus passes, which up until now have only been available through the Treasury Division at the Līhu’e Civic Center and the Kaua‘i Bus office. The bus passes can also be ordered through the mail.
