A Celtic Christmas Eve with Aloha at St. Michael’s!

St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, 4364 Hardy at Umi in Lihue, announces a special evening of music and worship on Christmas Eve. A 5:30 concert features the Celtic Christmas Trio, with harpist Sylvia Woods, violinist Terra Jean Otto, and guitarist John Gilleran and the St. Michael’s Hula Halau directed by Vern Kauanui. The 6:00 p.m. Candlelight Celtic Services includes the Celtic Trio, hula, choir, trumpet and soloists. At 7:30 p.m. all are invited to the Christmas Eve Reception in the Parish Hall. The 8:30 p.m. concert also features the Celtic Trio, and soloists Alan Van Zee, Karen Dickinson, Juno Apalla, Trumpeter David Braun, and hula by Vern Kauanui. The 9:00 p.m. Candlelight Celtic service includes the Celtic Trio, hula, choir, trumpet and soloists. All are invited to these special services and concerts and there is no admission fee.
