American Cancer Society Raised Funds

The non-competitive 2nd annual Bark for Life walk that honors and celebrates our special canine companions that care and give hope to their humans took place on the grounds of Kaua`i Community College Sunday, May 20 at 8 a.m. About 80 dogs and 120 persons walked to raise funds for American Cancer Society research. Attendance more than doubled when compared to last year’s event, and it raised over $3,000. In addition to the walk, attendees enjoyed refreshments and an invitation to participate in contests with prizes, games and demonstrations.
