PRO-STYLE YOUTH FOOTBALL CLINIC

Eric-1Making an impact in children’s lives and their perspective communities here on Kauai is a team effort. As Lihue resident and NFL free agent Eric Frampton waits for a call to continue his pro career, he will not wait on the sidelines to do his part in making a difference in our community. Frampton is excited about his partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii-Kauai to put on a football clinic, with the goal of preserving and encouraging active play among youth. Spectators are encouraged to attend on Saturday, October 11th, from 8AM to 1PM, at Isenberg field in Lihue.

Members of the Boys & Girls Club will not only learn football skills via a pro-style format, but will also be challenged in the areas of teamwork, discipline and leadership. Frampton brings seven years of experience playing for the Dallas Cowboys, Minnesota Vikings, and New Orleans Saints. In an ESPN.go.com blog, Frampton is described as a smart player who is able to utilize his athletic gifts at both free and strong safety. The Dallas writer states: “He picked up the defensive scheme pretty quickly and earned significant snaps on defense”. Frampton played a total of 91 games, having a total of 111 tackles, 85 of which were solo tackles.

There are ways for individuals, organizations, and businesses to get involved and join Frampton’s team. A list of sponsorship opportunities are also available with the option of having your logo placed on official camp T-shirts.
