imageThe Friends of Kamalani & Lydgate Park invite you to the 9th Annual National Make a Difference Day Kauai, Saturday October 25th 2014 … a day of fun, friends & volunteerism!

Not only are you personally invited, but you’re also welcome to talk story with any of our fabulous ‘Friends’ who have made this annual event such a growing success!  We welcome the opportunity to bring your audiences, coworkers, friends and family up close and personal with the dedicated volunteers who launched this official local event nine years ago, in conjunction with the national effort(http://makeadifferenceday.com/).

Thomas Noyes, General Coordinator for National Make A Difference Day Kauai 2014, explains:  “A clean and attractive park is a source of pride for all of us. The Friends of Kamalani and Lydgate Park coordinate  annual events that enable us to work together, making our island’s most frequently visited park pleasant and refreshing for park users of all ages and abilities. People that help on Friends of Kamalani and Lydgate Park workdays are building connectedness within our community.  That’s very gratifying.”
