to speak at Zonta Meeting October 2nd

 

Keri-Russell-photoKeri Russell moved from California to Kauai in 2004 with her husband to raise their two kids. She is a graduate of University of Hawaii and has over eleven years of experience in the non-profit realm on Kauai. Starting out as the Director for Goodwill Industries of Hawaii in 2005, she was responsible for 9 programs statewide assisting residents in obtaining self-sufficiency through subsidized employment programs.

In 2012, she was hired as the Director of the American Red Cross Kauai Branch where she has increased the local volunteer base from 20 to over 100. Keri is focusing on disaster preparedness for the community, strengthening the fundraising efforts, increasing the surge capacity, engaging volunteers, meeting with partner agencies, and obtaining private shelters.

Keri’s passions are community outreach, volunteering, and International Travel. In her spare time, she is a freelance writer for an International Travel Magazine.
